Mind The Map traveled all over Europe!!
On Saturday 3.9.2022, the event for awarding the Diocese of Sikinos with the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards took place!
In collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades we created 2 tactile signs for the archaeological site of Episkopi in Sikinos.
The historic day in which the symbol of Sikinos was opened restored, after 60 years, culminated with the shocking pandemonium of the people of Sikinios in the celebrations organized by the Municipality of Sikinos, proving the importance of the Diocese for the local island society.
The awarding of the project by Europa Nostra offers pan-European exposure to the monument and the difficult-to-reach beautiful island of Sikinos.
